The man who's running 401 marathons in 401 days
Ben Smith, who started running four years ago, has given up his job and possessions to attempt a world record, by running 401 marathons in 401 days across the UK.
The challenge will aim to raise awareness of the issues of bullying in our society along with £250,000 for two anti-bullying charities, 'Stonewall' and 'Kidscape', as Ben was a victim of bullying in boarding school.
He said he now "only owns a motor home", but running gives him "a sense of freedom" that he never had before doing it.
The reason Ben chose 401 locations was to "spread the message that bullying shouldn't be a part of our society" in as many places in the UK as possible.
