Lorraine Pascale 'floored' by her late mother's dementia
TV cook and nutrition writer, Lorraine Pascale, said she had "a double layer of grief" when her adopted mother recently died of dementia.
Pascale, who is also the UK government's fostering ambassador, credited her "inspiring" mother for being a "grafter", who instilled her with her "work ethic".
She admitted to missing her mother terribly, and not being able to deal with the dementia until after she had died, as she had "distanced" herself from her.
