When Icelandic author, Bryndis Bjorgvinsdottir, started a Facebook group to invite 5 Syrian refugees into her country, she had no idea of the support she'd receive. At the time Iceland was only accepting 50 Syrian refugees, but in 48 hours 12,000 people had joined the group, forcing the country's welfare minister to rethink the number.
