Vaughan: Make women's Test wicket shorter

A shorter wicket would make women's Test cricket a "better spectacle", according to Michael Vaughan.

Speaking to 5 live Sport's Mark Chapman on the Tuffers and Vaughan Cricket Show, former England captain Vaughan said he had been bored during the Women's Ashes Test series, but said shortening the wicket to 19 yards would add pace into the women's game.

“It looks like there’s a lot of really good talent and technicians that touch and place the ball, but the power’s not to match," he said. "So I think if you bring the pitch in a few yards it’d be quicker and you’d see a better spectacle.â€
