Lance Armstrong's doctor: I 'hope' people forgive him
Lance Armstrong's cancer specialist, Dr David Agus, said although he was "disappointed" in the cyclist for doping, he "hopes" people forgive him for the good of cancer patients.
Dr Agus, who also treated Steve Jobs for cancer, said "the only people being harmed here are cancer patients when we put down Lance".
He said Armstrong "remains a hero to every cancer patient" and he believes he should be given the chance "to do the good he did before".
