Refugee: Nobody knows what’s going to happen to my brothers
Ayman Hirh fled Syria in 2012 and now lives in Edinburgh with his wife and twin sons.
He has three brothers who lived in Syria “until a few days ago” but are now trying to seek asylum in Europe, because of the “militia in Damascus".
Two of Ayman’s brothers are disabled and he is worried about their journey. He hasn’t heard from them for two days.
Ayman said his twin children “went to bed crying” because “nobody knows what’s going to happen” to their uncles. He said he watches the television every day and the images of migrants make him feel “hurt”.
