Vegas plane fire: 'We could see the flames' from the plane
Jeremy Turnball from Essex, who was on the plane in Las Vegas that caught fire shortly before take-off, heard a "loud bang" and smelt "burning rubber" before escaping the plane.
A British Airways pilot has been praised for his quick thinking after the plane caught fire shortly before take-off.
Mr Turnball said passengers could "see flames" from inside the plane, and "smoke came in to the cabin" near the nearest exit to him, meaning he couldn't escape.
Some passengers were criticised for bringing their luggage out from the plane with them, but Mr Turnball said it was "a natural reaction" and he was relieved that "nobody was hurt".
