Paula Radcliffe鈥檚 husband Gary Lough protests the world marathon record holder鈥檚 innocence.

Radcliffe has said questions raised during a parliamentary select committee "effectively implicated" her in an article published in the Sunday Times investigating doping in UK athletes.

Speaking to Eleanor Oldroyd, Paula鈥檚 husband Gary Lough says 鈥渟he is going to take it upon herself to stand up for the sport.鈥�

鈥淲e didn鈥檛 choose to release Paula鈥檚 blood data鈥� said Lough.

鈥淚鈥檓 pretty sure there鈥檚 a bunch of clean athletes who have been lumped into the same boat鈥�I鈥檇 like to see WADA come out and state there is no case to answer.鈥�

In response to the allegations the three-time London Marathon winner issued a statement saying she was "devastated" that her name had been "linked to these wide-ranging accusations".
