Mourinho says 'happiness is low' at Chelsea
Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho says 'happiness is low' within the squad due to their slow start to the season.
The Premier League champions lost 3-1 at Everton, their third defeat in their opening five games and Mourinho admits it's having an impact on the players.
'The players feel it, they feel the weight of the bad results", he said.
"Happiness is low, self-esteem is low and the situation is not a happy situation for us".
Chelsea lost only three league matches last season, but defeat at Goodison Park matched that total after only five games, but Mourinho believes his side will turn their fortunes around.
"Work hard as always, be together as always and wait for a couple of good results to come as the good results will come", he added.
