This week the Krays made the 5 live Hit List chart after the Tom Hardy biopic 'Legend' was released in UK cinemas. Maureen Flanagan was a friend of the notorious gangsters' mother and even turned down a marriage proposal from Reggie Kray whilst he was in prison. Maureen made a promised to their mother, Violet, that she would visit them in jail after she died. When Violet eventually did die in 1982 Maureen visited them both right up until their deaths in 1995 and 2000.
