Corbynomics explained
The dramatic election of and extent of the mandate given to, Jeremy Corbyn, the new opposition Labour party leader, in the UK has provoked an avalanche of opinion on the direction of the party; most of it has been negative, not least, the new leader's economic policies.
The man Jeremy Corbyn has appointed as his shadow Chancellor, his finance spokesman, is John McDonnell, who comes from the same radical left wing of the Labour party. His entry in Who's Who once claimed his interests were "fomenting the overthrown of capitalism".
But John McDonnell isn't expected the be the only person directing Labour's new economic policy. Richard Murphy is an accountant from the rural county of Norfolk in eastern England and the man largely responsible for what's been dubbed Corbynomics. So has he had a call from Mr Corbyn?
