Somaliland Kid Makes It To Harvard
Thousands of students will be starting their studies at Harvard this month - and amongst them will be Abdisamad Adan - a student who's made an extraordinary journey from Somaliland. He performed superbly at his local primary school and was accepted by the Abaarso School of Science and Technology - a school founded by an American hedge fund manager. Abdisamad and Jonathan Starr -- the founder the Abaarso School of Science and Technology, speak to Newsday.
