California wildfires: 'I was close enough to feel the heat'
A state of emergency has been declared in California after wildfires have forced thousands of people to flee their homes.
The devastating fires in the north of the state have killed one person and destroyed many buildings in the Napa and Lake counties.
Rhod Sharp spoke to Owen Cough, one of more than 1,300 people who have fled Middletown, north of San Francisco, as their homes were consumed by the flames.
