'Fat-shamed' runner has the last laugh
The magazine 'Women's Running UK' is putting a photo of a plus size runner on its front cover, after she was heckled for being overweight by a van driver.
Lindsay Swift said that when the driver sang Mika's "Big Girl You Are Beautiful" as he passed her, she felt "embarrassed" and she "wanted to vent a little bit".
In an open letter to Facebook, she wrote "it's my body and I should be allowed to do anything I want with it".
Women's Running contacted Lindsey after seeing her post and asked her to feature on their September cover.
