Muslim leaders want safety training after Hajj crush
Muslim leaders in Britain say people should receive training before being allowed a visa to take part in the Hajj pilgrimage.
Habib Malik, the director of the Scottish Hajj and Umrah Trust, said he supported "obligatory" training courses and spoke to 5 live from Mecca, after more than 700 people lost their lives in a stampede near the Islamic holy city.
The call was also backed by Ibrahim Mogra, the Assistant Secretary General of the Muslim Council of Britain.
Habib Malik told John Pienaar that countries around the world had a role to play.
