Emissions test flaws throughout car industry
As Volkswagen struggles to deal with the fallout from the emissions testing scandal, a report casts doubt on emissions results throughout the auto industry. Findings by the International Council of Clean Transportation compiles data from all over Europe found a wide discrepancy between official laboratory test results and how the cars actually perform in the real world. Norbert Ligterink is a fuel emissions scientist in the Netherlands and co-author of the ICCT report
