O'Shea: Robshaw 'made right decision' in Wales loss
Chris Robshaw's Harlequins coach Conor O'Shea says the England captain made the 'right decision' in opting to go for a potentially match-winning try rather then take a penalty kick at goal which would have levelled their Rugby World Cup match with Wales.
England lost the match 28-25 and with three minutes left in the Pool A clash, England chose not to go for a penalty kick that could have drawn the match, with Robshaw opting instead for a five-metre line-out which was repelled.
"He has to back himself. He made the right decision," O'Shea said.
"As long as the decision making process in your head is the right one then you can't look at the execution afterwards and say it was wrong," he added.
Stuart Lancaster's side face Australia in their next pool match.
