During the last week where big supermarkets in England were allowed to give customers free plastic bags, 5 live's Stephen Chittenden quizzed shoppers in Cambridge about the nation's plastic bags .

From the 5th October any store that has more than two hundred and fifty employees will have to charge for single-use bags.
