A designer and entrepreneur, Vidhi Mehta, has developed a biology kit that works with an app, to help children to crowdsource their investigations, as they hunt for materials with antibiotic properties. All kinds of material in nature can have this power, from honey to turmeric, to butterfly wings. Children search their natural environment, then test samples in a petri-dish, before uploading the findings.
