Three listeners question army chief
The General in charge of UK military operations in Iraq has said sending Western ground troops to fight Islamic State miltants would risk alienating Muslims. A year ago the British government approved airstrikes against ISIL targets after the group took control of territory in the region. Lieutenant General Gordon Messenger says a heavy handed approach by the WEST could backfire. It's a rare privilege to get such access to someone like that and this time Asian Network decided to do things a little differently.
