Should Lancaster stay on as England rugby coach?
England coach Stuart Lancaster has been labelled a "miserable failure" by the Sunday Times rugby correspondent, Stephen Jones after the host nation's early exit from the World Cup.
A 33-13 defeat to Australia was England鈥檚 second defeat in three matches and Jones believes it鈥檚 time for Lancaster鈥檚 tenure to come to an end.
鈥淲hy are we even talking about the future, because Stuart cannot be in it. He鈥檚 been a miserable failure,鈥 he said.
鈥淟et鈥檚 not think this is a big shock, some of us were pushing the panic button four years ago.
鈥淗e鈥檚 never coached anywhere bar Leeds and England. He鈥檚 never won anything and experienced different cultures. All the other guys he鈥檚 up against have been in all sorts of cultures. Steve Hansen and Warren Gatland have coached two international teams,鈥 he added.
The RFU say they will not act "hastily" over Lancaster鈥檚 position, who is under contract until 2020.
