Discussing Chelsea鈥檚 poor start to the season as part of Mark Chapman鈥檚 Monday Night Club, journalist Neil Ashton claimed Jose Mourinho鈥檚 players were 鈥渂ored鈥� of his tactics.

He said: 鈥淭hese players don鈥檛 want to play in this tactical straightjacket. The players, I believe, get bored with the way they are playing. They want to play with more flair, more freedom and more panache.鈥�

5 live Sport pundit Steve Claridge, meanwhile, said Mourinho needed to find a way to get his players back onside, adding: 鈥淐learly this side are not playing for him.鈥�

Former Chelsea striker Chris Sutton questioned Mourinho鈥檚 decision-making, adding: 鈥淵ou don鈥檛 get a key player [Nemanja Matic] back onside by putting him on at half-time and then subbing him.鈥�
