Hassan Khan is a blind tennis fan, and he can enjoy the sport without any commentary thanks to three things 鈥� 鈥渢he squeak of a player鈥檚 boot, how the ball hits the racquet and the player鈥檚 grunting鈥�.

His attention to those details mean he sometimes knows what has happened before the players know themselves. 鈥淚鈥檝e called it out before he鈥檚 shouted, because I can tell he鈥檚 overcooked it,鈥� he says.

Blind since the age of three, Hassan has never seen a backhand. He says he doesn鈥檛 like to ask questions as he doesn鈥檛 want to spoil the enjoyment of others around him.
