'Polyphonic Prose' explained
Belarusian writer, Svetlana Alexievich, is awarded the Nobel Prize for Literature for her distinctive style described as 'polyphonic prose.' Bela Shayevich is currently translating her latest work, Second Hand Time, which was published in Russian in 2013. She said Alexievich's style involved interviewing hundreds of people.
