The woman, who broke the news that WWII had started, turns 104
The British foreign correspondent Clare Hollingworth, whose first ever 'scoop' was to discover the Second World War had started, is celebrating her 104th birthday. Hong Kong has been her home in her retirement and she can still be found at her table in the Foreign Correspondents Club there. Another journalist, Dame Ann Leslie, described the formidable journalist and why she wasn't believed when she phoned up the British Embassy in Warsaw to tell them the war had started.
