Can we engineer the climate?
At the end of next month representatives of almost every government in the world will meet in Paris for another conference on combatting climate change. This year, for the first time, the objective is to achieve a legally binding and universal agreement to combat change. But if that doesn't happen is there an alternative? Oliver Morton has just brought out a book called 'The Planet Remade: How Geo-engineering Could Change the World'.
