England need summer rugby to win World Cup again
ѿý pundit John Beattie says England will never win the Rugby World Cup again unless they play their season in summer.
Southern hemisphere teams such as South Africa, New Zealand and Australia play their seasons throughout the summer months, compared to the north's winter schedule.
The former Scottish International said: "There's only been one Northern Hemisphere success at the World Cup, which was England in 2003, a wet World Cup. The southern hemisphere teams naturally play in dryer conditions, and are more conditioned to chucking the ball around."
"Until England get summer rugby, they'll never win the World Cup again because these teams are miles ahead, and better conditioned".
