Study: 'Angry men gain influence, angry women lose it'
Research conducted at Arizona State University suggests getting angry can make you seem more authoritative - at least that is, if you're a man.
If you're a woman however, the study suggests that getting mad tends to reduce your influence.
Experts drew the conclusion after inviting more than 200 people to take part in a mock jury exercise using a computer laboratory. Dr Jessica Salerno, who led the study, explained the experiment to Rhod Sharp on 5 Live.
