The "super-recognisers" who never forget a face
Are you the sort of person who "never forgets a face?" There really are people who have the ability to remember the face of almost everyone they have ever seen. They have a 95 per cent recall rate compared with an average of just 20 per cent. These "super-recognizers" have been deployed by the Metropolitan Police in a bid to keep the streets of London safe.Dr Josh Davis is a senior lecturer in psychology at the University of Greenwich here in the UK and has worked with the UK Police to research how the "super-recognisers" do what they do.
