Why are women so against fracking?
A leading woman scientist, Professor Averil MacDonald, has provoked controversy by saying that it's harder to persuade women of the scientific case for fracking because women follow their gut reaction. Professor MacDonald is chairwoman of UK Onshore Oil and Gas, and aims to persuade the public of the benefit of fracking.
