Tim Sherwood sacked: 'He had a fatalistic air'
The ÃÛÑ¿´«Ã½'s Midlands football correspondent, Pat Murphy said that sacked Aston Villa manager Tim Sherwood had 'a fatalistic air' following his side's 2-1 home defeat against Swansea on Saturday.
Reacting to the news, Murphy was surprised with the timing of Sherwood's sacking, admitting that "I thought they'd give him a couple more games before the International break: Everton and Tottenham."
"Yesterday, Sherwood had a fatalistic air when he talked to us afterwards."
Villa are currently 19th in the Premier League table following Saturday's defeat - the club's eighth defeat in 10 games - and Sherwood leaves with an overall Premier League record of 21 defeats in 45 matches.
