Cyber experts: 'Lip movements could replace passwords'
New biometric technology being developed by cyber security experts in Belfast could soon mean that people no longer have to key in passwords on their smartphones.
The Centre for Secure Information Technologies based at Queen's University has come up with software called 'Liopa' which recognises the unique lip movements of a phone's owner when they read a sequence of numbers into the device's camera.
Co-founder David Crozier told Stephen Nolan on 5 Live that a company is about to be launched to take the technology forward, after a decade of research....
