'Follow your passion, don't do it for the money'. World renowned engineer Dr Robert Langer of the Massachusetts Institute of Technology is getting another award - the Queen Elizabeth Prize for Engineering - for his work exploring how to get the body to respond to vital drugs. But it took time to persuade the scientific establishment his idea would work.
