Chris Waddle: I feel sorry for Mourinho
Former England international Chris Waddle says he feels “sorry” for Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho taking the blame for his side’s poor start to the 2015-16 season. Speaking to the ѿý’s Kelly Cates, Waddle believes that the Chelsea players should be under greater scrutiny for their dismal start to the season.
“They’re very good players and they haven’t performed to their ability,” said Waddle.
“He’s done everything possible. He’s threatened them, left them out, dropped them.
“Some of these players have got to take a look in the mirror and think ‘am I really performing as well as I was last season?’”
