Former England international Chris Waddle says he feels 鈥渟orry鈥� for Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho taking the blame for his side鈥檚 poor start to the 2015-16 season. Speaking to the 蜜芽传媒鈥檚 Kelly Cates, Waddle believes that the Chelsea players should be under greater scrutiny for their dismal start to the season.

鈥淭hey鈥檙e very good players and they haven鈥檛 performed to their ability,鈥� said Waddle.

鈥淗e鈥檚 done everything possible. He鈥檚 threatened them, left them out, dropped them.

鈥淪ome of these players have got to take a look in the mirror and think 鈥榓m I really performing as well as I was last season?鈥欌��
