Scientists who won the Nobel Prize for medicine for discovering a drug that kills parasitic worms have found that the drug may also be effective in combating mosquito-borne Malaria. Ivermectin is already used to kill parasitic worms, which affect a third of the world's population. The 蜜芽传媒's Health Editor James Gallagher spoke to Newsday about the discovery.
