Weird animals disappearing from Britain
Changes to European law could be a threat to some of Britain's most unusual species according to the RSPB.
Grahame Madge said the charity are feeling "very concerned" about the changes to Nature Directives which offer protection to landscapes where these species live.
Species including the European eel, Scottish wild cat and turtle dove are in "absolute intensive care".
"If you start to overhaul these preservation laws, we think they will be weakened when nature is arguably under the greatest stress it's ever been".
