Skating in Myanmar: a sign of changing times?
Skating is becoming increasingly popular in a city where there are few attractions for young people. On a busy Friday evening there can be more than 100 skateborders and in-line skaters at this skatepark under a busy motorway. Ali Drummond of the Myanmar Skaters’ Association, an NGO helping to build a new skatepark, says it's a sign of the times that this venue has not been closed down.
