ÃÛÑ¿´«Ã½less dog only understands French
A homeless Jack Russell terrier called Archie appears only to understand French.
The dog was found abandoned and very frightened, and was only calmed down when a French dog kennel worker started to speak to him. Now everyone in the kennels is using a heavy French accent when they deal with him.
Richard Moore, the rehoming manager at the Dogs Trust Kennel in West London, is still confused to why Archie responds to a French accent.
He told ÃÛÑ¿´«Ã½ Radio 5 live: "There is something about the French accent. She sings songs to him, like Frere Jacques; he’s being fed French food, and he particularly likes French blue cheese."
