Seattle's famous gum wall comes clean
People in Seattle have been saying goodbye to one the city's top tourist attraction, at least for now. Around a million pieces of chewing gum, are being cleaned off the city's famous 'gum wall', for the first time in 20 years. The unplanned spectacle - started by queueing theatre goers in the early 90s - has been a magnet for decades worth of visitors. But it's time now, to make way for a clean canvas, as Joshua McNichols from KUOW public radio in Seattle, explains
