The 'Buddha' of New Orleans Music
Allen Toussaint, who has died aged 77, was hailed by musicians and fans worldwide as one of the most influential figures in New Orleans music. He was a singer, songwriter and producer. We speak to the trombonist Craig Klein, who calls Allen Toussaint a 'buddha' of music and last played with him in August.
