New Zealand pupil defies cancer to give peerless speech
At 18, Jake Bailey was diagnosed with cancer and was told that, without treatment, he had only a few weeks to live. At an award ceremony at his school in Christchurch, New Zealand, he gave an inspirational speech urging his peers to have the moral courage to believe in themselves and grasp their opportunities.
