Friend of 'Jihadi John' victim: His 'reign of terror' will be over
A friend of Abdul Rahman Kassig, also known as Peter Kassig, speaks of hearing the news that British Islamic State militant Mohammed Emwazi has "almost certainly" been killed in a US air strike.
Mr Kassig was murdered by militants from the Islamic State group last year. Mohammed Emwazi was pictured in the video of his killing.
Michael Downey, a journalist who lived with Kassig in Beirut, has said the news of Emwazi's death "feels a bit like justice".
He added that there were "definitely mixed emotions" in hearing the news but there are still "so many others committing atrocities" in Syria.
