Aled Davies: I had to ask to be drugs tested after world record
F42 discus and shot put world champion Aled Davies describes how he volunteered to take a drugs test after breaking the F42 discus world record at the IPC World Championships in 2013.
The Welshman says it is not compulsory in Paralympic sport to test athletes after breaking world records.
He adds that as a British athlete it was his "number one priority" to get tested and claims drugs testing protocols at major meets have "changed a lot since then and that WADA has definitely tightened up on it's testing".
