Moody suggests Lancaster's successor should be English
World Cup winner Lewis Moody says Stuart Lancaster's successor should be English, or have Premiership coaching experience.
Lancaster left his post as England coach following the team's early exit from the World Cup, and Moody says the RFU should appoint someone with experience of the domestic game.
“At Leicester we’ve had foreign coaches and form me it never really worked. Culturally they don’t quite understand the dynamics of the Premiership and how it works and how the RFU works with the Premiership clubs," he said.
"Part of me errs on the side of it needing to be an English coach but what it really needs to be is the right person for the job," he added.
