89-year-old viral stand up announces retirement from comedy
Octogenarian Chuck Esterley became a viral sensation this week after a video of his first ever attempt at stand up has been watched well over 1 million times.
Chuck, who is 89, told 5 live Hit List that he had "no idea" why people were watching his routine and says that "people like old folks doing something".
Chuck's jokes were filmed at the Go Bananas Comedy Club as a part of class he attended and says he only went along because his wife thinks he's a "ham".
