Boy donates $20 pocket money to vandalised mosque
A seven-year-old boy who donated all the pennies out of his piggybank to his local mosque after it was vandalised, says he wanted "to do something nice for someone else".
Jack Swanson, who's from Texas in the United States, gave $20 to The Islamic Center of Pflugerville after his mum Laura heard about the vandalism - which is thought to have been in retaliation for the Paris attacks - on social media.
Laura told 5 live Jack, "had a little less than 20 dollars in change" and was saving the money for an iPad.
The pair had originally gone to the site to help with the clear up, but Jack decided he would go one step further and help cover the costs of clearing away the mess, which included torn Koran pages, made during the attack.
