Facebook tests tools to ease relationship break-ups
The world's biggest social network, Facebook, has announced it is trialing new tools to make it less painful when handling a relationship break-up.
The tool allows people to see less of a former partner's name and profile picture around the site without having to unfriend or block them.
It also means their posts will not show up in the news feed or be suggested when people write a new message or tag friends in photos.
Daisy Buchanan has written a book on internet dating. She told Peter Allen on 5 live Daily she has concerns about the idea: "I don't think we can ever get past pain and learn from it if we just pretend that something hasn't happened."
