Rafael Benitez not to blame for club's problems, says former Real Madrid president Ramon Calderon

Current president Florentino Perez will make an "official announcement" on Monday night in the wake of Saturday's damaging 4-0 home defeat by Barcelona.

Benitez has faced widespread criticism for his tactics during the game, while the Madrid press have not held back in blaming the former Liverpool boss for a second straight defeat. But Calderon says the club will back him rather than sack him.
