Radcliffe relieved to be cleared of doping
Paula Radcliffe has told 5 live she feels "relief but it shouldn't have ever had to come to this" after being declared innocent of blood doping by the UK Anti-Doping agency (UKAD) and IAAF.
The marathon world record holder had "categorically" denied any form of cheating, and said she had "gone through all the emotions" before "standing up" for her sport and having to "clear" her name.
UKAD said the 41-year-old Briton had "no case to answer".
The IAAF, athletics' ruling body, said she had been "accused of blood doping based on the gross misinterpretation of raw and incomplete data".
