Pellegrini: Chinese investment brings more pressure
Manuel Pellegrini has admitted that there is now more pressure as manager of Manchester City after their parent company sold a stake of 13% to a consortium of Chinese investors.
City Football Group (CFG) has sold the stake to CMC (China Media Capital) and investment company Citic Capital.
It comes after six months of talks and is aimed at expanding CFG's interests in the Chinese football industry.
Speaking to Conor McNamara on ѿý Radio 5 live Pellegrini said: "We have to have trust in the way that we are working, the mentality of the owners is to improve us as a club."
"We must try to play in the style of play that they like."
